A lot of great points in that video that I do agree with. I agree with going with more calories post contest than a traditional slow reverse dieting approach. I've always thought that was an entirely too slow process. However, my own strategy is a bit different than theirs too which falls a little bit more in the middle. I tend to go more to just a bit over maintenance post contest to keep from gaining too quickly. I'll let my bodyfat rise to a good level I'm comfortable with, and then hold it, which is usually around 8-9%. Pretty close to what they are saying in the video really.

This is all fine but we already know this don't we? Do we do what we know? When I go on cycle I go 2.5 grams protein per lb and then 500 cals over maintain.
After cycle I gain no more than 10 lbs with an 400 cals over maintain.

Some of us do but not all. I've never had to diet down to comp levels so I've never had to do this before personally.

I had to reverse diet out of my last contest season. I felt like dog poo, and as we added calories slowly I got leaner and leaner. I'll probably take the more moderate approach next time. Hunger actually INCREASED as calories and leptin increased. Food focused 24/7.
