Intro and feedback welcome

Building off of another poster's start, here's where I am at as a new guy to the forum. Looking for feedback, suggestions, info, and pontential even training partners if anyone is local to the upstate NY (USA) region.

Been lifting 7 years, the last 2 seriously with good diet and discipline. Classic ectomorph - was 145 lbs when I started at age 25, now I am 172. Current stats: age 32, 5'10", 172 lbs, BF 15%.

I lift 5-6 times per week, do at least 30 mins of cardio a day, and am aiming for 3500 calories per day. Macros 45/30/25 carbs/protein/fat.

I have most trouble with chest from a size standpoint, followed by back. My legs grow fine, oddly enough.

Still doing some research and making sure I want to go through with this, but considering a 12 week Test-E cycle with an oral to jumpstart and an AI in case.

Totally open to suggestions on any of the above, including - obviously - source ideas. Because let's be honest - if I had a whole host of in person people to run this stuff by and to talk to or get from, I probably wouldn't be here.

How much have you read up? You didn't mention any pct which is as or more important than the cycle itself.

I had that problem with chest..this is what I did. Stopped benching! use dumb bells only..and practice isolation movements. As well as use the hammer strenth decline press..my chest started growing instantly! As far as juice ..it's mainly a personal decision..U could stand to drop Ur bf a lil more. No orals 1st go around and absolutely an ai. Your better to do a sarms cycle first to break u in.

Right now you are at the high end of bodyfat to start a cycle, and you certainly shouldn't be bulking or trying to add size without getting into better condition first.

Carbs and fats seem high compared to protein. You need to bring your protein number up too.

Right now my suggestion would be to first run a sarms cycle to get yourself into better condition to help drop bodyfat with the right diet. You'll also be able to make some nice gains from tht cycle as well. Afterwards you can think about a test cycle.

Here is what I recommend. It is the enhanced super stack from www.sarmsx.com

https://www.sarmsx.com/stacks/enhanced-super-stack-12-weeks

1-12 S4 50 mg day... split doses... 25 mg in the a.m. and 25 mg in the p.m.
1-12 GW-510516 (CARDARINE) 20 mg day… dosed all at once 30 minutes before workout…
1-12 RAD-140 20mg day dosed once a day in the a.m.
1-12 SR-9009 30mg per day (5mg dosed 6 times every 2-3 hours)

Good point, definitely - I've read enough to have informed questions, but def not enough to start immediately, if that makes sense. I'm thinking I give myself 3-6 months to research and get in optimal natural shape, then see where I am at. I actually didn't intend to leave out the PCT - but wasn't as confused about that part. What are your best suggestions in that area ?

A lot of people bench with their shoulders and tris without much chest. You either need to drop the weight and really ensure you're engaging the chest or do what cmb said and get the dumbbells out which allows you activate the chest much easier since you now have wrist rotation.

I suspect that may be part of my issue. My bench is pretty embarrassing, honestly. 185 is the most I can reliably rep. How far would you say I should go down ? I've tried empty bar, but that's almost too easy to feel what I am engaging...

Thanks a lot though - this is super helpful

pct is vital... it is THE MOST IMPORTANT PART of your cycle... the issue many have with pct is they think that pct is only about kickstarting testosterone production... while clearly, thats the main part, thats not all of it whatsoever... you need a FULL recovery, not partial or your not going to keep half of your gains... when you are in pct, you are going to get a major spike in cortisol... cortisol is termed the "gains killer" for a reason... it will put you into a catabolic state which will not allow you to build muscle and at the same time will eat it away, on top of the fact you will also get unwanted fat gain... so you will lose muscle and gain fat that you had just busted your ass an entire cycle for... GW and MK prevent the rise in cortisol... not only that but they keep you performing at a level you were while on cycle being the ultimate performance enhancers they are... on top of the fact that mk2866 is the ultimate for healing and recovery, which is imperative in pct as well as keeping strength up to a very high level... gw will also treat cholesterol and blood pressure, which are definitely things that need addressed in pct as well…

here is a link to purchase the pct you need followed by the layout...

one thing that truly helps to perfect your bench is to do some negatives.. put 135 on there bro... dont fucking worry about anyone else in there etc... if ANYONE says a thing about that then i truly feel for them as they are quite pathetic... from there, really focus on negatives... 5 seconds down and then explode up... slow and steady 5 seconds down and explode up... i assure you, you implement these and not only will your chest grow but so will your strength

I agree with Dylan. Also, It never hurts to drop the weight down and and keep your movements very strict on your form. I see way too many guys at the gym working out with too much weight only to ruin it with their form.
When benching, I don't lock my arms out on the upward movement of the bar or machine. This keeps the muscle contracted.
As far as widening your back. Overhand pull ups. Finish your back work out with 2 sets of dumbbell pull overs. Both sets to failure... HTH's

Thanks a lot for this - so you'd suggest a SARMS cycle now, or would it be optimal to try and lower the BF % before even doing that ? I can usually drop BF when I focus on it - I just have to be willing to watch myself get smaller, which is the vanity-based hard part. If I focus on definition as the goal, I can get through it though.

What would an optimal BF % be before starting a SARMS cycle ? If different, what about AAS?
