Hi guys! I'm Jeremy- New guy here but I poked around on Evo but mostly read the articles and lurked. Checking this place out and trying to learn! I've spent a lot of time on BB.com but it seems like everyone there is just out to sell some b.s. products. Was a huge fan of Jim Stoppani but it seems like even he has developed a "my word is gospel and you NEED to buy my supps" mentality and his groups are turning almost into cults. I suppose I should be thankful that I was able to see through all of that.
Anyways, I have heard good things about the guys in this community and thought that this was my next logical place for knowledge.
A little about me-
31 years old, 184lbs, 11.5%bf, about 5 years lifting experience and am a certified personal trainer. I am a huge fan of old school bodybuilding- Arnold and Frank Zane are my physique idols. Diet is good and dialed in about 90% of the time with few exceptions- no soda, fast food, processed stuff but most of us let pizza or a burger slip through from time to time, I'm sure. In the gym about 6 days a week hitting each muscle group twice a week, with calves and abs touched on a few more times than that. Three heavy days (5-8 reps) and three higher volume days (10-12 reps) each week. Cardio is just a few HIIT sessions here and there.
My next goal is to get down to under 10% and to put on about 10lbs of muscle with the aim of competing in some regional shows in the future.
