HCG, mandatory in PCT or just a nice add-on?

To me HCG is a less talked about compound, but is mentioned often enough in PCT layouts that I would like to be better informed about. The big questions I have are; is HCG actually a mandatory compound (i.e clomid/nolva) or a beneficial addition to a strong PCT plan. Will I properly recover without it?
If it is cycle specific let's assume a 10 wk cycle: 4 wk Dbol@ 25/25/50/50 and test c 10 wk@ 500, cycle support etc.
Give me your thoughts bros!

First of all, you NEVER use HCG in PCT. Its meant to be ran before PCT in the final weeks of a cycle and while esters are clearing. Once PCT starts, HCG ends. It will be counterproductive to recovery if you try to use it in PCT.

The second point is that HCG is not a requirement by any means. Many choose to just not use it at all, and it does have its own set of side effects to consider before using it. It can make the transition to PCT and recovery much easier by getting your HPTA to start working on its own going into post cycle. It's one f those things that some people swear by, where others just don't see the need really.

Thanks Rick! I should have been more clear in my question, I was speaking speaking about the use of HCG during transition/the ester clearing phase heading into pct.

Yeh that makes more sense, but no problem buddy. You can use it or not. It really comes down to personal choice. I have never used HCG myself

I run hcg 500iu a week for 4 or 5 weeks. I start 2 or 3 weeks before my last pin. Then two weeks after last pin. Works for me just fine full testicle recovery . Beats that hcGenerate crap and a fraction of the price .

Rickrock, so can you still recover just fine without hcg? Does hcg make that big of a difference in terms of recovery? or is it more to make people feel better with the transition to pct. Will i be fine with his pct protocol with no hcg use:

clomid 50/50/25/25

nolva 40/20/20/20

aromasin 12.5 mg eod

cycle assist

mk-2866 25 mg day

gw-501516 20 mg day

Thanks for the info Oldjarhead, interesting stuff.

While HCG can certainly make your PCT easier by giving your HPTA a kickstart for recovery, I don't believe HCG is required before PCT at all. It's really your call, but I believe you will be covered VERY WELL for your post cycle recovery with what you have listed above, and without HCG.

it is better than both nolva and clomid combined AND it replaces hcg as well... fuck it probably adds 15 pounds of pure muscle we don't know about as well... just ask them

for fuck sake, it may even grant you 3 wishes if your lucky and get the "special" bottle!!

this is a strong method and exactly how i always recommend it to be used except i like it a bit higher at 1000 but i see no issue whatsoever with 500 a week either... that's a nice protocol brother...
