if you want a few sleepers beyond the obvious cavs and warriors, along with the spurs, take a look at boston... they are loaded... they added al horford, so now they have a consistent all start center, along with one of the best coaches in the league and a team filled with young talent that is only getting better and believes they can win... they can't beat a team like the warriors in a 7 game series yet but watch how surprising they are this year... another team to keep an eye on... the wizards... coming off a down year where they had a ton of injuries, i would expect a much better season similar to the one they had two seasons ago... if wall and beal are on the same page, they can make some noise too...
the west is pretty predictable... warriors and spurs obviously... clippers have the talent but they just cant seem to get over the hump... the blazers are only getting better... lillard and mccollum are fucking beasts and they showed last year, they are very much on the rise but the jazz are a team with a load of talent... they always have injuries but they have the talent over there for sure.... they are still very young but they can make noise... as funny as this sounds, the lakers are going to be rising each year... i wouldnt expect too much this year but when that teams gets experienced, they are going to be tough...
now lets live in the real world... golden state is so stupid loaded HOWEVER, you have to be very very careful with the spurs.. they have the best coach, they are UNSTOPPABLE with gasol and aldridge in the paint and kawhii leonard may be the most complete player in the entire nba... you better be very very careful to discount them because if anyone can beat golden state, its them... golden state will have no answer in the paint whatsoever so just be careful handing it to the warriors because its not that easy and trust me, lebron is going to be extremely difficult to deny and although i think they should trade kevin love, he has another year together with lebron and kyrie and feels the pressure to produce which i believe he will... remember, the best TEAM wins, not the best players...
