Dropped the son of at college...

So the coaching staff seems great, seem very enthusiastic about my son being here, the administration staff are super friendly. No complaints with the school, or program to be seen. RB coach said my son is a player, they've got one back from last season who is 'improved ' and I'm thinking my boy has a real shot at some real play time. We'll see.
Between 3 forced 'super meals' from the program and 3 meals in the cafeteria a day and weights I think my boy will be a mound of muscle by seasons end. So after all their meetings and all that we came back by the school and got to say see ya later to my boy. He cried. My wife and I encouraged him and I shared a fact with him... I told him he was my greatest achievement.
I love being my son's father. Bonus is they have a scrimmage on the 20th when we come back. I know my boy is gonna drop jaws as usual... all the long years of training, preaching and teaching are paying dividends. Loving this...

The 44 is smiling. Literally, right fucking now. Shit eating grin turned all the way up.

Lol, I held mine together. When he hugged me we hugged the shit outta each other. That's what I needed though, hug my boy and let him know he's loved. I think father's and son's should hug time to time. Miss the fucker, but hey men gotta venture forth.

Thanks all, fatherhood is indeed a blessing when your kid has their noggin on semi-tight. Just made it back home and gonna hit the gym in about 4 or 5 hours.son is at a team building retreat today with his new external family.
Just gonna figure out how to cook smaller portions. The Era of healthier cooking begin. Chicken, turkey and fish will reign supreme now.

That's commendable bro, nothing wrong with a father letting his kids know that they are loved. If more parents did o and kids were receptive to this, the world would be a better place.

Opportunity is priceless indeed. I told him how rigorous it was at the college level, he's finding out now that his dad wasn't just breathing through his mouth when I spoke. Endless meetings, practices, more meetings... 11 RB’S on the roster. 4 are upper classmen so he has to make his mark where and when he can. Scrimmage coming up on the 20th, hopefully he can wow the coaches at back and special teams and get on the field this season.
