Did it hit a vein? Is this what it feels like?

So, my friend had to go to the Dr. to have something checked out. They told him we can either give you a Penicillin shot or you can take some pills for a week(not allergic to anything). Easy decision "can I pin myself?". The nurse says bend over and slams the needle in the cheek, then.....FIRE. As related from my friend-Fire starting at the injection point and what felt like acid radiating out through every vein in his body. Just like a zombie movie where you see the vein turn black as the virus destroys every blood cell and you can see it travel from the bite, through the veins, to the heart and then exploding every where.. Absolutely amazing. Then as soon as the fire died, freezing cold, teeth shattering body shaking cold. F this I'm out of here, F-ing Kaiser. It's over 100 degrees outside so you can imagine how hot the car is. Doesn't matter, get in crank up the heater, still freeing cold. Get home, jump in bed, buried in blankets and fall asleep. Wake up a few hours later, good as new.

That was beautiful bro.

Straight into the vein I'd say. Foreign substances and carriers where they shouldn't be give those insta-flu/fever symptoms as your body feels like it's been overrun by something so amps up all the defenses. I've gotten it from a bad prescription TRT Test shot, and UGL gear very very rarely. And fire is a good description. That's what it feels like. Even when you just penetrate a vein it stings, but when you pump into it - liquid hellfire. When it gets to your capillaries and pools around your lungs, supposedly that's when the Tren compound causes its coughing fits trying to expel it, as it can't take in oxygen when there's a liquid in the way.
The reason I say supposedly is because there's still debate about why and IF it is the compound doing that, because, as your mate and I found out (and others have experienced) you can get these coughs and flu fits when any foreign compound or oil is injected into a vein (as it is from the carrier, not the compound), so people don't understand how Tren can be so much worse - it being a compound in a carrier like anything else.

You really *know* when you hit a nerve. You would go through the absolute roof and be tender for days - to permanently.

Despite all their practice,ER nurses aren't always the best at giving shots.I had one jab it in my cheek like a knife & it hurt like hell for a few days.

Great description btw,You should look into writing horror novels. :)

extremely difficult to hit a vein in the glutes (especially for a nurse/doctor that went to school to learn how to administer injections), id also have to agree possibly a nerve or needle phobia.

I hit what I have to believe was a nerve yesterday when I was doing a tren shot in the glute. Aspirated and blood came back into the plunger so I pulled it out. Immediately bruised up. Today it is about the size of a dime but there is no pain or tenderness. It's happened to me before but always gets me worried

Penicillin shots have excruciating PIP. I've had 2 in my lifetime and pretty much what you experienced is what I experienced both times.

Difficult, but not impossible. They whack 'em in there like darts. LOL

Ya, pen shots are no joke. Mine was straight out the fridge, straight in the cheek.

It's definitely possible to hit a vein in the glutes, but it's the least likely and least vascular of pretty much all pinning sites, so its a safe bet for the most part. Glutes are the one site that I really don't even aspirate, but I always do in quads which has a much higher likelihood of hitting a vein
