Cutting tablets

Hi,

How do you guys go about cutting tablets? Do you recommend buying a tool made for cutting tablets? I want the mg amounts to be fairly accurate, and does losing 1mg or 2mg matter too much?

i mean i figured most people would just buy a pill cutter for $3...

I just use a razor blade from a utility knife on my kitchen cutting board. I've been splitting my Aromasin and Caber for years.

I just use the razor itself by hand.

I recently bought a $3 pill-splitter from the pharmacy, and it cuts my scored tablets in half perfectly.

yeah, i mean, they do make pill cutters that are used for this purpose
