Finishing up week 10 and I'm flying on the bike and my running. Weights are strong and I have gained WAY more muscle than anticipated...or wanted. Weight is 188.6...so I have gained a couple of pounds, but my BF went down to 8.2%!!! My goal is 180# and 8%, but I'll take this...The strength in...
I get a lot of people I work with saying "I wish I could be like you, and have the discipline". The fact is, they can...and I remind them of that. Some people aren't wired this way. So, fuck'em.

I've run GW before. I tend to think the gains quit peaking around week 8. It will be interesting to see if the gains will keep coming since I lost some fitness when I was sick. Today my wife looked at me and was like "you are fucking ripped". I don't lift upper body at all...I focus on legs...
Weekly update and I'm at stoked. 186.1 at 8.3%. My goal is 180/8%. It appears I'm going to surpass my goal by week 12, I'm starting week 8 on Monday. I've also decided to push this stack for 16 weeks...so I don't see why 7% is not possible at this point. My fitness is finally back from...
Thanks for the words Dylan...means a lot. I missed your response last week, and just read it this morning. Good news...currently 186.5 @ 8.7%. Muscle mass increased, so I really couldn't be happier. Remember, my goal is 180/8%. I started at 192 and 9.5% 5 weeks ago. My endurance still is...
The lack of updates on this log is a result of me getting pneumonia. Just started training again yesterday and have had 2 solid endurance days, along with a gym day tomorrow. I lost a lot of fitness...probably about 3 weeks worth of strength and endurance. Fucking sucks. I hope to have some...
You can pay for school but you can't buy class. Now can it buy you happiness? I will say this...I've never seen a bum skipping down the street before.

Weight and BF dropped a little more today. Currently 188 and 8.6%. I'm training at another level right now. Again, I did VO2 max intervals yesterday and added 7% more time to my exhaustion. I have a lifting and running day today and I'm getting tired. I'll probably push the lift off until...
Shit is really kicking in on the beginning of my 4th week. Took 1 minute off of my fastest 4 mile warm up run today! Avg. 7:40 miles at 3% grade. Proceeded to have the best leg workout I've had in awhile. This is after a weekend of intense intervals on the bike...where I again improved. BF...
I'm coming up on 3 weeks with this stack and things are good. Weight is remaining at 187/9%. It's crunch time for me tonight with Christmas Eve. Family and food will be in abundance. I plan to eat but not overdo. Partly the reason I'm writing this is for the support and the fact I feel like...
I felt obligated to report today after being a bitch yesterday. Weight is 190# and BF is 9%. I made some tweeks in by diet and had a nice and manageable calorie deficit today. Big night in the gym last night after a brutal VO2 workout in the morning. Woke up today and knocked out 5 miles on...
Am I fucking crazy trying to run this during the holidays? Part of the reason I did this was so I could have some discipline during this time of year. I look around at all these fat fucks and I'm like...what the fuck? I'm 42 and trying to get to 8%.

10 day update: Weight 190#/BF 9.5%. Workouts and endurance have improved on a daily basis with proper recovery. Today I increased my threshold intervals by 14% from the previous week. That's 2x14% increases in intervals to exhaustion since I've started this cycle. Weights are up as...
In my opinion....It's the recovery that is important with this stack...especially at my age. You can just fucking bury yourself with GW. If you don't recover from the hard workouts...you don't get stronger or faster. You can end up fucking yourself as a result of the ability to train so hard...
7 day update-192#/9% BF. Basically lost 1/2% BF and gained 3/4# of muscle. Weight stayed the exact same. Training today was especially good. I was able to add 14% more time to exhaustion on intervals I was doing. That's just unbelievable. Game on.

Yes...I have a power meter and know where my FTP is right now...more importantly my w/kg. That is why I am focusing on losing the 10# and hopefully increasing my power a bit too. Current FTP is 339. I'd like to see 350 at 180# at some point in 2017...that's where I was in my mid 30's. I try...
I've decided to keep a log on this current 12 week cycle for motivational purposes from everyone during the holidays.
Beginning weight is 192#/9.5% BF on 12/5.
42 years old. Training is around 10 hrs per week. Mixed lifting, running and cycling.
The goal on this cycle is to get to 180#/8% BF...
