I'm a country gal, work in a dirty ol' mill every day and wear a hardhat and steel-toe boots, but love dresses and high heels and shopping and stuff. I started my health journey with over 250 lbs packed on my 5'8" frame. I've been as low as 165, and I see-saw between that and 190, depending on time of year and motivation. Ultimate goal is to be 15 to 18% body fat, don't care what number is on the scale. And to be healthy when I'm there and while I get there. Last but not least, I want to share my journey with others. When I was 250 I felt so hopeless and so much like a failure. Now I know that a lot of conventional information about what leads to weight loss does not work for lot of people. I want others to know that they are not failures, and it isn't hopeless. They just need to try other approaches until they find what works for them. I don't ever want others to feel the way I felt back then!
