AI fitting room

Hello everyone! I recently heard about FitRoom, a technology that allows you to try on clothes online using artificial intelligence. It is essentially a replacement for a regular fitting room, only in virtual form. I am very interested in the question: how accurate is it? I am always afraid to order clothes online because I can’t be sure how the item will fit, especially if the image on the website is very different from reality. Has anyone tried it yet? Maybe someone has experience with this service? What are the pros and cons, if any?

I have also recently used AI fitting room, and I think it is a really cool thing, especially for those who cannot find time to go to stores. It is important to note that this technology uses very advanced algorithms to simulate a real fitting. The point is that you create a virtual avatar, enter your parameters - height, weight, body measurements, and then choose clothes to see how they will sit on your figure. I have had experience with buying clothes online, and often, even if the item looks perfect in the picture, it sat either too tight or, conversely, too loose on me. When I first tried FitRoom, I was a little skeptical, but, frankly, the technology pleasantly surprised me. For example, when I was choosing trousers, the system, based on my parameters, immediately showed how they would sit on me, taking into account not only the size, but also the features of the figure, such as slimness or the presence of, say, rounded hips. Here's what I noticed: the accuracy of this system really depends on the quality of the data you provide. The more detailed you are (for example, not just height and weight, but also body shape details), the more accurate the result. But it's worth understanding that AI still can't take into account absolutely every nuance of the real world, such as, for example, how the fabric will react to your activity during the day. Of course, AI won't be able to accurately replicate the feeling of trying on clothes, but for basic items like T-shirts, pants, jeans, or jackets, for example, it can be very useful.

I am also interested in learning more about FitRoom! I order clothes online quite often, and sometimes I have a hard time choosing a size. However, like many others, I worry that the item will not fit as it does in the photo. So I think this technology can be very useful. But I wonder how well it works with more complex clothes, such as evening dresses or outfits with an unusual cut? I would not trust a virtual fitting if it is something unique.
